What should I do? Any advice much appreicated. I'm thinking I'd rather manage backup via a Virtual Machine though which has the NAS shares all mapped than to put the load onto the QNAP. They have some integration with QNAP as well by the looks of it. I'm thinking the first year price looks particularly good but does anyone here have experience with using the service?
It seems that it'll keep 30 versions indefinitely of each file that is backed up. It sounds as though I can map NAS shares as drives, then backup. At the moment, I have 2x 4TB disks in the NAS, so in reality, I need only to pay for 5TB storage. It doesn't have unlimited storage as BackBlaze has, but their personal backup service expects that one is backing up a single machine, not TB's of data.
